In 1991, the group entered the arena of steel manufacturing with the acquisition of Pankaj Steel Ltd. - a modern steel plant located near Bangalore. After the acquisition, Pankaj Steel saw a new era of growth and expansion, with complete modernization and introduction of the latest technologies in steel production. Under the dynamic leadership of Ramavar Garg, the company grew from strength to strength and also

invested in a new integrated production plant spread over 90 acres at our site, near Bangalore. Today, Pankaj Steel has a production capacity of over 2,92,000 metric tones of steel in various forms.
